"Suki"
Suki was a gift from my ex-boss (Mr Dariush - MD) at my previous office..Mr Dariush bought Suki in Jakarta previously before he and his wife migrated to Malaysia in 2003 (he's a Canadian...FYI, Mr Dariush is half germany-iranian), actually I am not sure on Suki's origin but Suki is a persian breed cat for sure...I became a permanent custody for Suki in October 2004, the month I resigned from the previous company...
How I became the permanent custody?the story was like this...Mrs Martina (Mr Dariush's wife) were actually having problem keeping Suki at home because she said that Suki's fur caused her to have a difficulties in breathing...that was the reason she wanted to give Suki...all started when the day she invited me to her house on job matters, I saw Suki..such a cute cat & friendly too...hehe..Mrs Martina did mention to me that she wanted to give Suki to her friends or animal care centre and explained to me the reason of her doing that..then I came up with a quick decision to take Suki as my pet...as a cat lover, I hate the idea of letting irresponsible people or animal care centre to be the cat custody...I dont want such a cute cat like Suki being torchured or put to sleep..that is sooo unfair!..nowadays,most people dont have heart and lack of humanity...
When I brought Suki to my mom's house, "he" dont seem to like it though...huhu...maybe so different from his previous lifestyle (western)...but as the time goes by he managed to cope with our culture...hehe..this year, suki already 6 years old....I believed Suki really enjoyed his hobby, which is "sleeping"...see to believe..!Suki's getting fatter than before..huhu
my suki....cute eh?

Part II - Lucky....In Memory
13/7/2007 - I did not go to KSP Dinner at KL Convention Centre..my husband did not giving me the permission to go..he wanted to spend more time with me & Lucky I guess...as for that reason, I gave my 100% focus on Lucky as she was injured and need more attention...When I reached home, I immediately prepare food & medicine to be given to Lucky..she still dont eat & drink...me and husband so worried about her...she must be in pain..half of her body was like dead..poor her!...can you imagine, she have to drag half of her body to move..what concerned me was, her eyes dont seem to function well...because whenever I tried to give her drink, she was like searching for it...and when she sleeps, her eyes were not closed.I was getting worried...and was hoping everything going to be fine...after gave her the medicine, I put her back to the cage to let the medication to take effect and to let her have some rest...
14/7/2007 - as usual after subuh prayer, I started to do some cleaning in the house..then I saw lucky was trying to lift her body to move coz she looked uncomfortable with her position...then I saw her urine stain on the paper that I put on the cage floor...it was like a mixture of urine and blood...I was so worried..then, i took her out of the cage, to give her more space to move...she actually did urine but her urine did not look normal...I told my husband that we need to bring her to clinic again for further check-ups..few days on medication but her condition remain unchanged..we still have to force her to eat and drink..same goes to medication...I dont want let her suffer for that..then, around 2 pm, we went to the clinic located at SS3..unfortunately the clinic was already closed.. (they put a notice there" we have moved to ....), owh great!!..how can we find other vet clinic around there...??..I tried to sms my friend and get him to search for me on the net the address of all the vet clinic in PJ (SS area)...around 20 mins after that I received some of the address...and I have chosen Sea Park Animal Polyclinic 49 Jalan SS2/3, since we were near to this area...before we headed there, I called the clinic for a direction to get there...we arrived there around 3:30 pm...after the doctor examined her (lucky) body, he said that half of lucky's body were paralysed and because there was a damaged in her nerve system...the spinal cord I guess...she also lost her vision and the saddest thing was....her bladder was dysfunctional...that's a reason she can't pass her urine...and the infection from the bites had spread ....once it goes to the kidneys ..her kidneys will shut down and she will die....as for that reason, the doctor gave me 2 options..first, 5-days aggressive treatment to try to slower the infection and try to save her live..but the chances were 50-50...if she stays alive, she will permanently paralysed and if not she will die...second, put her to sleep...me and husband took like half an hour to decide on that...I asked the doctor again whether I have other options..the doctor given me no choice...finally we have decided to put her on sleep...we dont want her to suffer anymore..if she stays alive...she cant walk, cant urine, cant eat & drink...she will depends on water & food dripping to continue her life...why should we let her suffer like that...she deserves a better life..she supposed to have a normal life like any another cats out there....our decision were very hard...and without I realized, my tears dropped...I really hope that we made the rite decision...may lucky rest in peace....

Part I: Lucky Story..
10/7/2007 - on the way back home from meeting friends outside around 12:30 am, me & husband found a cat with two legs broken(I guess...hard to tell because it was dark)...(kesian sungguh..tak boleh bayangkan if I were in that cat's condition..I was still remember the day before yesterday, I saw the same cat at the parking area but at that time with only one leg broken...I dont bother to have a look at that cat because I thot that the cat just having a fight with other cats..or maybe a "mating" season..hehe..(mana la tahu cats ni bermusim skit..ada timingnya cats will "meow meow" bila nak mate kan..?)
11/7/2007 - we were insist to have a look at the cat condition since the cat sound like in trouble..after me & husband checked on the cat, we found his both legs were broken...poor cat..the cat look so healthy but only the injured legs make the cat weak and the movement were limited. This is the first time I saw my husband really have heart for a cat...or maybe his strong humanity made him decided to keep the cat at home for a while until its injured legs recovers..at home we put the cat in the box...then I put my unused towel in the box before I put the cat..this is to make the cat feel comfortable in the box since the legs were injured...I have to make sure I am not hurting the cat's leg or else the injury might getting worse.I gave the cat some milk and steam fish..I believe the cat were so hungry and that was the only meal that I can think of that time..I own a cat before but I let "him" (Suki) stays with my mum as her company.Back to the injured cat story, later at nite, we dropped by at the supermarket to buy a cat food...a tuna flavor whiskas..(that's Suki's favorite) since the cat does not showed a postive response to the steam fish given..me and husband were so worried about the cat's condition..
12/7/2007 - I took EL to bring the cat to the vet clinic at SS3 PJ (Wilayah Animal Clinic). I arrived at the vet clinic around 11:30 am.The Vet doctor's name is Dr Thiaga. He's a very nice guy,he's an indian but he speaks fluent malay..(not bad looking either...hehe)... Dr Thiaga checked the cat's condition and from the examination, he suspected that the cat has broken hip..not broken legs as me and my husband suspected earlier...oooohhh...the cat must be in real pain..I can feel that...what surprised me was when Dr Thiaga showed me there was a bite spot on the cat's body..between his back bone and hip...more surprised not one but two bites..maybe that what caused her legs to paralysed...from Dr Thiaga observation, he told me that it was either a dog bites or male cat bites....he could not tell the exact info since he has to do an X-ray to find out...unfortunately he does not have X-ray facility. He said he needs to send the cat to his friend's clinic for an X-ray but he can't do that today since he will be attending a 3-day course starting Friday until Sunday. He will be around on Monday. As for that reason, the cat being admitted at the clinic for few hours (around 6 hours) under Dr Thiaga's supervision for his further examination. He needs to check the cat's urine (the cat had not urine for the past 2 days)..he already gave the cat a jap and some medicine to put the cat to rest..poor cat..I promised to Dr Thiaga that I wil fetch the cat at 4:30 pm...so, while the cat being admitted at the clinic for 6 hrs..I went back home and took a nap..hehe..my husband called me like a zillion times today to know the cat's condition...so i need to update him from time to time..even have to explain to him in medical terms..huhu...When I reached at the clinic, Dr Thiaga was doing a water dripping to supply some water to the cat's body (around 100 ml of water)..to ensure that the cat does not suffer from dehydrated. Before I go off, Dr Thiaga remind me to bring the cat again on Monday for X-ray and futher check-ups. Hope the cat getting better soon. That nite, me and husband decided to name the cat, Lucky..why lucky?because she was so lucky that we found and adopt her...For the time being we had to put her in the cage until she recovers.
thanks to my husband for paying the bills... (",)
will update lucky's latest pics on Monday..

My Meal Of the Day..Yummms
Actually, yesterday I did "tapau" pizza personal set (express combo 1) at Pizza Hut MidValley while waiting for my husband there. He was attending a talk on property investment at Cititel...and while waiting for him, I just walked around and do some window shopping...after few round of walking, I felt so hungry and dropped by at Pizza Hut (GF) to have my dinner..after I took a seat in the Pizza outlet, I ordered the meal...10 minutes after that he called me saying that the talk has finished...and he urged me to leave PH immediately and headed to MPH,where he waited for me there. So I went to the counter and asked the cashier to cancel my order and guess what the supervisor said to me, "sorry miss you can't cancel the order"..I asked her why..she said that "once the order being key-ed into the system they can't cancel it anymore"...okie..no question asked..fine with me...then I talked to her nicely with a smile that I need the order as soon as possible as my husband already waited for me. After that, me and husband headed back to his mom's house in Setapak...By the time we went back to PJ it was already 12:30 am...FYI, the pizza is still in the fridge..I thot of bringing it to the office to reheat and have it for breakfast but because I always rush every morning I forgotten about it.
When I reached the office, I still thinking about my pizza in the fridge..but I can't wait until 5:30 pm to rush back home to have the pizza.. so what I did was telling Ira that I want to eat pasta..and she's ok with it...so during our lunch time @ 1 pm, we headed to MJ for Pizza Hut.Even we have to Q for quite a while but it's worth waiting anyway.
Here are some pics during our lunch at Pizza's..By the time the pics were taken, the foods are already in our stomach...burrrppp..ooopsss!!hehe
From L to R - Me having Ice blended strawberry yogurt (yummy..!) while Oya and Ira give their best shot..

Symptoms or Insanity?
Last 2 weeks, my menstrual delayed for a week..usually only 2-3 days delayed...what concerned me a lot was the symptoms..
Well, I have heard from many sources that you aren't supposed to have pregnancy symptoms until the 6th week.
For the last 2 weeks, I was having what I would like to think are symptoms:
1. Queasy - okay, not full on nausea but definitely this feeling like a lump in my throat that wants to turn into nausea but holds back coyly. Eating something makes it feel better, then I get to burping burping burping..
2. Gassy - my stomach like being ripping apart and I guess my gastric started to hit me again
3. Laziness - Not into housework like I used to ..(haihh..I ni rajin sangat tau,tak dok diam selagi rumah tu tak super shiny). In addition to that,I am easily get tired (buat ni penat..buat tu penat...asik asik ingat bantal & katil jer..hehe)
4. Sleepy - this is not my favourite hobby though, but the last 2 weeks making this one of my favourite do's...I can sleep while watching tv and sometimes the worst part is I can fall asleep while talking to my hubby...not so me!!.
Besides that, I also experienced constipation..hehe...I guess enough for me to mention the word without elaborating it further..
What makes me think that I'm pregnant??...here goes the story;
I went to Sunway Lagoon with my family during the school holidays 2 weeks ago. That time my mestrual was delayed for 5 days and I did not suspect anything..just that I was not in the mood to play any games in the park...I'd rather walk around with my mom & sister and watched my younger bro & nieces playing in the pool...
DIY Pregnancy Test
Negative (-) Result - Not Pregnant
Back to the story, the next day..I experienced a bit pain in my stomach and when I went to the toilet I found a blood clots (coagulated) on the floor as big as China on the map.I was really panicked as I never had this blood clot during my menstrual in my life..
For that reason, recently I do some readings on miscarriage from the Internet - http://www.hcd2.bupa.co.uk/ ..It says:
"The most common symptoms of miscarriage is vaginal bleeding, which can range from light spotting to heavier than a period. You may see blood clots, brown discharge or other tissue that is not clearly identifiable"...
This doesn't include situations where you lose a fertilized egg before you get a positive pregnancy test. Studies have found that 30 to 50 percent of all fertillized eggs are lost before a woman finds out she's pregnant because they happen so early that she goes on to get her period about on time.
I called my mom to checked on this situation and she suggested me to see gynae for further check-ups..I need possibly an examination, some tests and investigations may be needed to find out what is happening.I think I have experienced missed miscarriage..and from my readings from the Internet, the treatment for this will be treatment with medicines or surgery to remove the remaining pregnancy tissue or excess blood.
Whatever it is...I need to find out from the gynaecologist whether I had a miscarriage or just my insanity to get pregnant!
InsyaAllah, hope everything going well for me...I prefer to let nature take its course...

Father's Day vs Mother's Day
One of colleague came up to me this morning and told me that yesterday was a father's day...I said to him that I know it was father's day because I have a father..uhuk..I did not mean anything to that words or as sarcastic words..it's just word with no meaning in it...oooooh sorry pal...huhuhu...erm,how should i put it....??
Talking about father's day and mother's day...why is it so important to have this two occassions in our lives??I still remember during my childhood years, childhood trips to the mall were an adventure, especially when there was an occasion such as Father's Day or Mother's Day to prompt the quest... I often gravitated towards Memory Lane's (cards & gifts's shop)..Neither of us gave much tought to what these gifts meant; they were simply reflections of a child's love and appreciation for her father or mother.Like most people, I listened to commercials that promised insight into what all dads/moms need - perfumes, watches and jewelleries or even choc & flowers...more important I learned that the gifts we give and things we do to mark these occassions are not so simple in their meaning..Why do we get dad a wallet or a tie?Because "good" fathers take care of the financial needs of the family, and these gifts symbolize his role as the provider...and because dad works so hard, he needs to remember to play, so gifts that support his favorite sport or hobby are also common. As for moms, simply because they brought us to this world and they sacrificed their time and energy to raised us to become somebody.
There is also meaning behind the things we do to celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day,and this particularly evident when comparing the two occassions...Fathers are significantly less likely receive a gift, go out to eat and celebrate with extended family on Father's Day than mother's are on Mother's Day. Father's Day celebrations are also shorter by approximately two hours (I guess).. Could this be a reflection of the societal message that dads are less important to the family than mom?Yet despite spending less time celebrating, doing less and getting less, fathers reported a significatly greater enjoyment of Father's Day than mothers did of their Mother's Day celebrations. ..I wonder if your dads out there don't realize you are getting the short end of the stick..Maybe your expectations of how the day should go are not as high as Mom's, and therefore there is less dissapointment in your day.
We think more stereotypically about mothers and fathers on Mother's Day and Father's Day vs other family events such as birthdays. This is reflected in the gifts given on these occassions. The gendered nature of Mother's Day and Father's Day is underlined (that is, Mom is a woman, Dad is a man) by giving more stereotypically expensive gifts to moms than the fathers. Fathers and Mothers should be treated the same as a respect to them for raising us. Why should it matter what families do, what gifts they give or what feelings they have about Mother's Day and Father's Day?..These two occassions provide insight into what society values about motherhood and fatherhood and reinforce normative conceptions of what "good" mothers and fathers do.So, for me if a mother can have a RM 500 value of gift, it should go the same for a father...that's the act of being fair to both mother and father.
For Mother's Day last month, I bought for my mother a beads bracelet and for this father's day, I will get something special for my father at the same value as mom's gift....

Mysteries Of The Mind - Part II
# 5 Brain Teaser
Laughter is one of the least understood of human behaviors. Scientists have found that during a good laugh three parts of the brain light up: a thinking part that helps you get the joke, a movement area that tells your muscles to move, and an emotional region that elicits the "giddy" feeling. But it remains unknown why one person laughs at your brother's foolish jokes while another chuckles while watching a horror movie. One thing is clear: Laughter makes u feel better.
#4 Nature vs Nurture
In the long running battle of whether our thoughts and personalities are controlled by genes or environment, scientists are building a convincing body of evidence that it could be either or both! The ability to study individual genes point s to many human traits that we have little control over, yet in many realms, peer pressure or upbringing has been shown heavily influence who we are and what we do.
#3 Mortal Mystery
Living forever is just for Hollywood. But why do humans age?You are born with a robust toolbox full of mechanisms to fight disease and injury, which you might think should arm you against stiff joints and other ailments. But as we age, the body's repair mechanisms get out of shape. In effect, your resilience to physical injury and stress declines. Theories for why people age can be divided into two categories: i) Like other human characteristics, aging could be a part of human genetics and is somehow beneficial. ii) In the less optimistic view, aging has no purpose and results from cellular damage that occurs over a person's lifetime. A handful of researchers, however, think science will ultimately delay aging at least long enough to double life spans.
#2 Deep Freeze
Living forever may not be a reality. But a pioneering field called cryonics could give some people two lives. Cryonics centers like Alcor Life Extension Foundation, in Arizona, store posthumous bodies in vats filled with liquid nitrogen at bone-chilling temperatures of minus 320 degrees Farenheit (78 Kelvin). The ideais that a person who dies from a presently incurable disease could be thawed and revived in the future when a cure has been found. The body of the late baseball legend Ted Williams is stored in one of Alcor's freezers. Like the other human popsicles, Williams is positioned head down. That way, if there were ever a leak in the tank, the brain would staysubmerged in the cold liquid. Not ine of the cryopreserved bodies has been revived, because that technology doesn't exist. For one, if the body isn't thawed at exactly the right temperature, the person's cells could turn to ice and blast into pieces.
#1 Conciousness
When you wake up in the morning, you might perceive that the Sun is just rising, hear a dew birds chirping, and maybe even feel a flash of happiness as the fresh morning air hits your face. In other words, you are concious. This complex topic has plagued the scientific community since antiquity. Only recently have neuroscientists considered consiousness a realistic research topic. The greatest brainteaser in this field has been to explain how processes in the brain give rise to subjective experiences. So far, scientists have managed to develop a great list of questions.

My Dream Viva!!
Today's (Friday - 25 May 2007) The Sun
Ermm..it has been a while that I dont drive and own a car since I sold my baby Kelisa in December 2004...I bought the kelisa on June 2004 a month before I got married. I really miss my baby Kelisa..I am planning of having a car again but have not yet decided when is the right time to buy since the Perodua frequently launch a new car..maybe I shud wait for another model to be released...everytime I watch a Perodua Viva advertisement on TV I feel like to own one. The car is so compact and convenient for city drive...it's the perfect car for ladies.
I feel like trying my luck to win the Perodua Viva in the DIGI contest..the problem is...I am not a DIGI but a MAXIS subscriber..then, I tried to persuade my colleagues Ain & Ira to try out their luck in the contest since they are DIGI subscriber...hey,c'mon...who knows..maybe luck will be on their side...
As for me, I shud think of buying instead of winning it. Viva...nice name & nice car..but of course not now..maybe later when I am financially-free.

A Lending Hand
Each station the PUTRA stops will make the PUTRA go slower...hehe..maybe because of the load...One incident happened in the crowded PUTRA this morning, a minute after the PUTRA passed by the Kerinchi station, one of the lady in front of me suddenly collapsed...or should I used a word fainted...to be accurate. She looked very weak and her hands on forehead. I believed that she had an headache before she fainted or else she suffered a morning sickness (pregnancy symptom maybe) huhu...Then, I helped her up, and get someone to give her a seat...unfortunately I forgot to bring "minyak cap kapak" as I used to bring everyday in case im having the same symptom (morning sickness)..hehe
headache or morning sickness?
After I put her to the seat, I asked whether she needs anything...water?panadol?or plastic bag maybe..in case if she feels like throw up (or vomit)..sometimes we probably thinking that all the mentioned stuff are not important but in certain emergency cases those stuff will help a lot..ok,back to the story..then I tried to comfort her..to make sure she is fine all the way to her destination...I asked her where is she headed to?..she said KLCC...then I can only look after her until Masjid Jamek station because my destination stopped there.
Before I stepped out from the PUTRA..I waived my hand to her showing that I was leaving...with no thank you or smile, she nodded and leaving me with the worried feelings...but I understand..maybe she was in pain or too weak to response...it doesn't bother me at all, maybe I will react the same if I were in her shoes.. as long as she still alive and my help makes her feel good and easy...I am happy with that..what I did this morning was just lending my hand for a help...

PDA Dilemma..??
Why suddenly I need to buy a PDA??..The answer is very simple...One of the biggest benefits of the PDA is its ability to hold large amounts of information in a small box and the best thing is, very useful for quick reference. For me, thinking of furthering studies will be vital for me to have a gadget like this to ease my learning process...hehe...
on the other hand, the advantages of having a PDA;
- today's PDAs can also keep us amused with games, music, and video; a growing number have built-in cameras, and a few newer ones integrate GPS receivers as well.
- Even entry-level PDAs now have color screens, and all but the most inexpensive models also let you track e-mail, browse the Web, and send instant or text messages via built-in wireless Internet connectivity--Bluetooth (for connecting via a Bluetooth cell phone), Wi-Fi, and/or (in the case of PDA-phone hybrids) cellular networks.
- At the high end, a couple of models support two or three modes of wireless connection, so we can enjoy broadband speeds at Wi-Fi hotspots and increasingly speedy cellular hookups almost anyplace else
I found a few PDA in lelong.com.my and there are 2 best PDA for me to choose (these 2 includes all the advantages listed above):

A Blurrrrrr Me....!!
Aishah: Hello...Boleh saya bercakap dengan Cik Noor Azmah?
Me: Ye saya
Aishah: Saya Aishah dari Cosmopoint. Saya nak inform yang Cik Azmah telah lulus exam semalam
Me: Huh?Exam?
Aishah: Exam yang Cik Azmah duduki semalam untuk menjadi antara peserta yang terpilih untuk mendapat biasiswa bernilai RM 14K untuk menjalani IT Specialist Training selama 6 bulan.
Me: Owh,yea...now I remember..Alhamdulillah. So....,?
Aishah:Adakah Cik Azmah masih berminat untuk meneruskan dengan tawaran yang diberikan?
Me: Yes, why not..apa prosedur selepas ni?
Aishah: Actually, Cik Azmah baru saja melepasi stage yang pertama, stage yang kedua akan diadakan interview bersama dengan wakil dari kerajaan.
Me: stage yang kedua?
Aishah: Seperti yang dterangkan dalam taklimat skop kerja (job briefing) semalam.
Me: Oppss...sorry saya tak attend job briefing tu sebab saya terpaksa balik ke office atas urusan kerja.ok..takper, then biler interview tu?
Me: Ok takde masalah..thanks for the info
Aishah: Sama sama..
Actually the conversation was quite long but I make it short & simple..hehe..I was blur that time when she mentioned about the exam but then I can see the clear picture of what she was trying to tell me...What a blur me!..simple thing also so difficult to understand. This thing always happen when I am too tied with something; work, responsibility, etc.Too many things inside my mind..a mixture of everything &*#@$>^+.
Should or should not I proceed with this?...
My feelings after being informed that I have passed the exam, for the truth I felt happy but unhappy on the other side because if I were being accepted to this program:-
1. I have to quit my current job at PricewaterhouseCoopers (Cosmo needs my full time commitment for 6 months).. how about friends??gonna miss them so much
2. No more monthly payment like I used to get.. (sob..sob..sob)
3. I dont have the oppurtunity to work at PwC's new office @ KL Sentral. (heard rumours - move on August)
4. No more "Administrator" title
Whatever it is, Alhamdullilah (praise to Allah) for His Bless. If this is the path that He chose for me, I believe it is the BEST and I'll accept it with OPEN HEART....

First Blog..
