Winter Pre-Shopping

On Saturday (2nd Feb 2008) last month, me and husband went to Ikea, Damansara and bought some jackets for winter. My husband were leaving for Holland that nite and he had to get some jackets during his one week stay..It was winter in Holland..We left the house around 11-ish and we shoot to Ikea,thank god we managed to get the parking near to the door.ye lah,usually in weekends, hard to get a parking....we reached there around 11:30 am..our house to Ikea is just nearby..dalam 20-30 mins if no traffic..first,we went to have our lunch @ De Irfan's Cafe..then we headed to winter cloth shop at level 1 if I were not mistaken..the best thing was, my husband's company provide him with Corporate AMEX for those expenses, winter clothes, foods & etc..the budget allocated for winter clothes are RM 800++..my husband the one who go but I was the one who do the shopping..hehe...my intention was to help him around to shop,but turned out I also bought for myself...I said to my husband if I can't make it with him to Holland I will keep the jacket in case if I need to travel overseas one day..he just smile...he bought 3 jackets...and as for me one jacket, one glove,one cap, and a mapla and also thermal suit,to keep my body warm...then,we rushed to Sunway Pyramid as my husband wanted to shop for some t-shirts and pants..then we headed to money changer for Euro currency...everything were so rushed, coz my husband's flight was at 11:45 pm..he had to make sure that he reached the airport 2 hours before departure time...we were leaving Sunway Pyramid at 6 pm and we headed back home..at home, I had to help him with the packing..so tiring..and to pack I have to make sure that all his personal stuff that he needs are in the bag...one big luggage..after packed, we made a move to Subang 2, his parents were waiting there to send him to airport....we headed to airport after maghrib, around 8 pm and we reached international departure terminal,KLIA around 8:50 pm..then, he checked in and placed his luggage..we waited until the gate for departure opened.Around 10.15 pm, he entered the gate for departure,which was gate C 12. From the gate he took a train took him to the waiting hall..He sms to update me on his location:

10:22 pm - am on the train, gate C14

10:55 pm - am at gate C14,but last minute they changed to C12..going to the flight soon, Owh by the way, I coincidently bumped with my senior in Japan, he works there and he's going back to Japan.He gave his business card,maybe after this we might thinking of Japan for a holiday.hehe...orait dear,it's my turn to move..this is my last message..will see you in Arnhem on Tuesday..Take Care..I luv u

2007 PwC Biennial Dinner

Hi fellas...really glad that I can blog again...it's been a while huh?one month blog one month gone...hehe,biasa lah kan,too busy with work...

Ok...to cut it short, I want to blog about PwC bi annual dinner held @ Mandarin Oriental on 16 November 07 ago. To tell the truth I really enjoyed the dinner because this time I decided to join SPA Assurance team...unlike the previous dinner, I chose to be with my buddies...more freedom I guess..the reason of joining the team??I kinda close with our (SPA team) new joiners, Fira & Zaza..You want to know the secret of both??..they share the same name,even the father's name are similar, one is Zafirah Muhamad Zulkapley (Fira) and the other one is Zafirah Zulkifly (Zaza). Both from Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP)...Erk,too many UTP's graduates in PwC...what makes them choose to be here??..semak la weh!!...hehe,for ex-UTP's..just joking eh!

For the dinner, PwC Leadership Team sent out a note for early release.... Everyone were leaving at 1 pm, except for those who still attached with assignments & meetings...The reason was to allow the staff to prepare for the dinner.

Me & Fira decided to stay and do our make over in the office...Zaza joined us later in the afternoon since she was at client's.Me & Zaza chose to wear kebaya while Fira with her cheongsam.We hired a make up artist to put a magic on us. make up artist do the "transformation" job better than on our own..

The registration started at 7pm. We've got a door gift upon registration, a 1GB thumbdrive..ok la kan,better than nothing...quite nice...after registration we took some photos outside the ballroom. Zaza, Fira & me searched for SPA team around as we reached there quite late...we reached there almost at 8 pm...sadly,we missed the lucky dip...the lucky dip were for the first 300 if I were not mistaken...

Our guest performer for that nite were Harith Iskandar & Sean Ghazzi...What I can say that both of them performed very well. I really love Harith's joke..really made us dying to laugh...hehe..while for Sean,I really admire his voice...a man's voice (suara jantan gitu!!), was touched when he sang P Ramlee song...

PwC performances for that nite were the fashion show and performance by Partners.
I was not sure exactly when the dinner is over but I had to leave early coz the clock already strucked 12 :30 am... but before we head back home, we took some photos again outside the ballroom..

Zaza gave me a lift home to Setapak (my mom-in-law's hse)..Thanks Zaza!...When I arrived at home,I cleaned my face...had shower...drink some plain water and went to sleep @ 2 am..what a tiring nite...but I had a lot of fun!.

Hari Raya ...

Hi fellas & frens...I'm back again..feel good to be back and share something with you guys..I know I have not updated my blog for quite some time...sorry fellas..were sooo bz lately with work & other personal matter...only now I feel a bit free but not really free,just some free time during lunch...so I update the blog as some may have requested me to do so...hehe...Owhh,before I forgot I would like to wish all fellas & frens

"Selamat Hari Raya & Maaf Zahir Batin"

Talking about Raya,I wanna share my raya experience this year. I bet most of us going back to hometown to celebrate raya.As for me, husband & family in-laws did not go back to Muar,Johor as usual. We have decided to celebrate it at Bukit Beruntung instead.why?as some ppl say "tukar angin"...hehe..that what we were trying to do...actually the house in Bkt Beruntung is owned by my bro in-law,he bought a house there as a second house...sometimes during weekends, my parents in-law will go there for a day or two to do the cleaning & to take a break..We were leaving for Bukit Beruntung the nite before raya and return to KL on the second raya...then,on the second raya was my turn to celebrate raya with my family...well,that's the tradition for marriage couple...take turn to celebrate raya..as for me,I dont mind which family comes first as long as it is fair for me,then it shud be ok & I have no issue with that..just trying to be a good wife...uhuk uhuk.. (",)

On second day of raya, me, husband & my family went to my uncle cu's house in Sg Besi..aunty cu's cook asam pedas ikan kembung (mackerel) and few other dishes.yummy..yummy..!!Then,we took granny back to my mom's house in Setapak for a couple of weeks to spend time with my nieces during the raya school break...The sad thing for me this year's raya was I missed my mom's raya dishes such as kuah lodeh, rendang daging & kuah kacang..she's an expert preparing those as I only be able to celebrate with her on the second raya and for sure my brothers finished the dishes on the first raya before I can have my portion... :(

On the third raya, our plan is supposed to visit our Tok De (Tok Uda - granny's brother) in Kg Kuantan but since my husband's car was having a minor problem, me & husband had to cancel it last minute..sorry mom,this year we were not able to visit Tok Uda..perhaps next year we will organize a rombongan cik kiah to Tok De's house...hehe

Forth raya, we were just staying at home as I already started working. Boring huh?..to tell the truth I like it so much,less people, no traffic, from driving to public transport, everything gone smooth...but it will only be a temporary..wait until next week,the road & public transport will be back to normal - congested.

I'm back!!!phewww,good to be back... it's 1 month ++ since the last blog I published...was so busy with the packing...btw,PricewaterhouseCoopers will be moving soon to Sentral 1, KL Sentral...the 1st batch will move on 17th Sept and the 2nd batch will be on 24th Sept...mine is 2nd batch...most importantly,am looking forward to it..why?I only have to take one train from Tmn Bahagia to Masjed Jamek...it takes abt 15 mins..no more RM 90 Monthly Travel Card (MTC),it will be RM 50 save every month...hehe...big save aite?...but the worst thing is that from office to Sentral station will take about 15-20 mins walking distance...because our Sentral 1 building is a bit isolated at end of KL Sentral buildings area....in our new office,my department, System & Process Assurance (SPA) will be located @ 14th Floor...same goes to SPA Advisory and printing room...for the moving, I was appointed as a Move Administrator/Coordinator to handle administrative matters at the new office...stockcount on boxes,etc...errkk!stock count on boxes?...and that is to be done during fasting month?..and according to schedule,move administrator/coordinator need to do the stock count on Sunday, 23rd Sept at 3 pm to avoid mess on 1st day @Sentral 1..on the 1st day (24th Sept), all staff will be require to wear a casual "dress code", an official "striking" green t-shirt (will be our new uniform on the Day 1..).Jeans are allowed...what else the information abt the move that I missed here?..owhh,in the new office, in terms of security it will be more advance and secure.No security guard but "polis bantuan" will be around for a help..Parking fee is almost the same wif K N Chak @ Wisma Sime Darby@ RM 5/entry.The cheapest parking will be opposite the building (Brickfield Road) @ RM 4/entry.The are a lot of food stalls & restaurants but most are Indian food.Don't expect me to eat mamak food everyday..better to bring food from home...I can save more and in terms of hygiene,100% clean & halal...nothing I can find @Brickfield..If I wanted to shop I prefer going to Sentral station..I can go for McD,food court,selling booth,pharmacy & etc...

What I gonna miss most @ Wisma Sime Darby (Jln Sultan Ismail & Jln Raja Laut)??

1. Maju Junction - esp. Yong Tau Fu soup @ the foodcourt..mmg kawww!! & fruity (LG)
2. Sogo - gonna miss the SALE (shoes & handbags)
3. Jalan TAR - esp collection of tudung
4. Saiful (mamak stall) - gonna miss nasi goreng ayam super,tip top taste
5. Aunty chicken - nice taste of nasi goreng ayam & nasi ayam (with soup)
6. Abg Sani "kunyit" - no more nasi kunyit gaul..hehe (RM 3.50/plate-comes together wif tom yam soup)
